Event Overview
TPC Summerlin was awarded “One of America's Best Golf Courses” by Golf Digest magazine in 2006, and the number 1 Privat Golf Course in Nevada” by Nevada Business Magazine.
The golf course winds across valleys and arroyos. Lush bentgrass greens, eye-catching vegetation, multiple water features, and a profusion of honey mesquite and pine trees all contrast sharply with undisturbed desert washes and other natural landscape characteristics. The end effect is one of Nevada's most aesthetically beautiful golf courses and one the PGA Tour players love to play.
The characteristics of genuinely great golf courses are innovative architecture and a love for nature, and TPC Summerlin's excellent championship layout is no exception, you won’t hear many complaints this week from the PGA Tour pros.
TPC Summerlin's par-72, 7,243-yard layout was created by famous golf course architect Bobby Weed from a spectacular stretch of rough desert topography, with PGA TOUR veteran Fuzzy Zoeller serving as a consultant.
The wind is the best defensive for this course, and if it’s stay calm as expected , then we will see a winning score of better than 20 under par. The PGA Tour can tuck the pins away here, this will put a premium on hitting fairways. The course itself has seen long and short positional type player wins. It’s a wide open event and one the players really enjoy.

5Key Skill Sets Required
SG T2G- To win these low scoring affairs, quite simply you need to be dialed in T2G. Putting may separate the top few players however those in contention will all need to excel from T2G
Birdies or Better % - Expect a low scoring affair this week, I want players who have a proven track record of making plenty of birdies, and are in good form over the past 24 rounds
SG Around the Green - We can see from the data that scrambling here at TPC Summerlin is of key importance, and I expect this week to be no different. You can’t afford to make bogeys on these low scoring weeks so players will need to have an exceptional short game when they miss the greens
Proximity to the hole- The greens here are some of the easiest to hit on tour, therefore I’m looking at players who are hitting it close to those pins, and attacking the golf course. This will be a key factor in creating birdie chances and the opportunity to go low which will be required this week.
Driving Accuracy - There are few PGA Tour events where driving accuracy matters nowadays, very little most weeks in fact, it's worth noting that finding fairways on this course is critical to attacking the course and when analysing prior results this area stands out

Best Outright Picks
1.Sam Burns 25/1 BetMGM
It’s the first time I have ever done this but he has form for going close 2 weeks in a row, when winning the Valspar earlier this year he followed that with a 2nd at the Byron Neslon.
Last week he putted so badly and still won the event at a canter.
If he putts well this week, he is easily capable of going close again
When he won at the Valspar he improved his strokes gained performance in all departments except putting, if he is to reproduce this then let me tell you he won’t be beaten
