Onto This week- John Deere Classic
After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic, the John Deere Classic is back on the PGA TOUR calendar. The tournament at TPC Deere Run, which has hosted the tournament since 2000, will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2021. In 2021, the odds for the John Deere Classic may be ideal for taking a chance on some longshots. After all we have pedigree in doing so.
Dylan Frittelli, the defending winner, won the 2019 event for the first and only time on the PGA TOUR. However, the South African, who won the University of Texas national championship and is currently rated No. 90 in the world, returns to TPC Deere Run with only five other players in the top 50. However, hundreds of other talented players are vying for a spot in the FedExCup standings so lots to play for.

As you can see from the image below One area stands out this week which is driving accuracy. Other areas to consider looking at the data/gained approach from 100– 150 yards, as the majority of strokes will take place from this range. This is one of the easiest courses to hit greens in regulation on tour , it’s also one of the easiest course on tour to get up and down from when missing the green. All this points to another low scoring affair despite the poor field we have this week.
